Vegan Plant Balls with Tomato and Chilli Sauce

Meat free balls made with textured pea protein and oyster mushrooms served with a tomato and chilli ragu.

Ingredients
- Plant balls – 30
- Spaghetti – 800g
- Olive oil – 20ml
- Garlic – 2 tsp
- Onion – 1
- Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
- Chopped tomatoes – 800g
- Sugar – 1tbsp
- Parsley -100g
Method
- Peel and finely dice the onion
- Add the spaghetti and cook as per manufacturer’s instructions
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the onion, fry gently and add the garlic and chilli
- Stir in the tomatoes and sugar and simmer for 10 mins
- Add the plant balls and simmer for 10 mins
- Drain the spaghetti and serve with the plant balls
- Finish with chopped parsley
